Just got a break in between my exams.Still 5 more days for all my exams to get over.
Now itself plannin my hols...
Surely I can enjoy a lot in this vocation bcoz
--->yet to read new novel of JEFFREY ARCHER.
--->French open finals.
--->most awaited T20 world cup.
--->got a pirated copy of TWILIGHT movie(I'm not at all tired of seein it )
--->above all these,mommy's food stuffs
Apart from all these planned for an implant training also ;(
God.... Pls make my exams to get over fast....

VERDICT OF MY(D) PEOPLE
Manishankar Iyer ,the former Panchayat Raj and petroleum minister ,has bcum a prominent loser of 2009-elections.Altho his party with its ally DMK has got a spectacular victory,Iyer lost.
He had won the Myladuthurai constituency three times in the past.He entered myladthurai in 1991 with the compaign "I'll strive hard to improve Myladthurai lyk Dubai" ,he did won dat time also.So far he has served as MP from Myladuthurai constituency for three times.But the things done to Myladthurai are comparably less.
As i was born n brought up in Myladthurai,I could possibly guess the reasons for his defeat.
* The bus terminal is unable to accomodate all the flowing buses.Probably for the last 6 or 7years, the people are crying for a larger bus depot. Thou the present bus terminal has been renovated recently ,its not upto the standards.Its just an eyewash 4 elections;(
*Since the town is based primarily on agriculture ,more imp shuld hav been paid to agri, which wasn't done.The sugar mill which is located in the realm of MYD is poorly maintained and its awaiting the date to get closed.
*Myladthurai railway junction is an important juncture as its connecting many cities lyk Kumbakonam,Trichy,Tanjore and Thiruvarur.But the incomplete broadways b/n CH and MYD for the past 4 yrs is a big head ache for the people(particularly myself).
*Underground drainage system which shld hav got a gud response frm the people was sworn bcaz the roads are left as such wit ups n downs after digging out.
No Govnt Engg/Medical/law/Architect college/Univ in n aroun the city.
*No remarkable achievements r made in the rapidly growing city when compared with other cities lyk Tanjore n Trichy...
*The main charge against Iyer is ,the residents of MYD can see him once in 5 yrs drng elections!!!!!!
Plainly saying ,MYD is rapidly developing bcaz of the private organisations and enterprises in the city. Efforts from govnt side are very meagre.
Being an union Cabinet Minister ,One can do a lot to his constituency which Iyer failed to accomplish. Instead he dint satisfy the basic amenities also.All these let the ppl of MYD down n they opt for the alternative choice ......Its not that ppl want to elect the person who won (O.S.Maniyan) this time,dey want to show deir frustration to Iyer.
Better luck next time to both Iyer n MYD ppl ,bcaz the city cant expect more frm an OPPOSTION party's MP!!!!!!!!!
